 The author, Professor Mikhail Prokofyev, Ph. D. (Them.), Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Sciences and Mem­ ber of the USSR Academy of Pedagogical Sciences is the USSR Minister of Educa­tion. Head of the Natural Compounds Faculty at Moscow University he has publi­shed over 120 papers on chemistry both in the Soviet Union and abroad.
