“दादा भगवान’ कौन?
जून 958 की एक संध्या का करीब छः: बजे का समय, भीड़ से भरा सूरत शहर का रेलवे स्टेशन, प्लेटफार्म नं. 3 की बेंच पर बैठे श्री अंबालाल मूलजीभाई पटेल रूपी देहमंदिर में कुदरती रूप से, अक्रम रूप में, कई जन्मों से व्यक्त होने के लिए आतुर “दादा भगवान’ पूर्ण रूप से प्रकट हुए और कुदरत ने सर्जित किया अध्यात्म का अद्भुत आश्चर्य एक घंटे में उन्हें विश्वदर्शन हुआ। ‘मैं कौन ? भगवान कौन ? जगत् कौन चलाता है? कर्म क्या? मुक्ति क्या ?’ इत्यादि जगत् के सारे आध्यात्मिक प्रश्नों के संपूर्ण रहस्य प्रकट हुए। इस तरह कुदरत ने विश्व के सम्मुख एक अद्वितीय पूर्ण दर्शन प्रस्तुत किया और उसके माध्यम बने श्री अंबालाल मूलजी भाई पटेल, गुजरात के चरोतर क्षेत्र के भादरण गाँव के पाटीदार, कॉन्ट्रैक्ट का व्यवसाय करनेवाले, फिर भी पूर्णतया वीतराग पुरुष!
“व्यापार में धर्म होना चाहिए, धर्म में व्यापार नहीं’, इस सिद्धांत से उन्होंने पूरा जीवन बिताया। जीवन में कभी भी उन्होंने किसीके पास से पैसा नहीं लिया बल्कि अपनी कमाई से भक्तों को यात्रा करवाते थे।
उन्हें प्राप्ति हुई, उसी प्रकार केवल दो ही घंटों में अन्य मुमुक्षुजनों को भी वे आत्मज्ञान की प्राप्ति करवाते थे, उनके अद्भुत सिद्ध हुए ज्ञानप्रयोग से। उसे अक्रम मार्ग कहा। अक्रम, अर्थात् बिना क्रम के, और क्रम अर्थात् सीढ़ी दर सीढ़ी, क्रमानुसार ऊपर चढ़ना। अक्रम अर्थात् लिफ्ट मार्ग, शॉर्ट कट।
वे स्वयं प्रत्येक को ‘दादा भगवान कौन ?’ का रहस्य बताते हुए कहते थे कि “यह जो आपको दिखते हैं वे दादा भगवान नहीं हैं, वे तो ‘ए.एम.पटेल ‘ हैं। हम ज्ञानीपुरुष हैं और भीतर प्रकट हुए हैं, वे ‘दादा भगवान’ हैं। दादा भगवान तो चौदह लोक के नाथ हैं। वे आप में भी हैं, सभी में हैं। आपमें अव्यक्त रूप में रहे हुए हैं और “यहाँ’ हमारे भीतर संपूर्ण रूप से व्यक्त हुए हैं। दादा भगवान को मैं भी नमस्कार करता हूँ।”
