Description
Siddhantasarvabhauma with commentary,begun in A. D. 1627 and finished in A. D. 1650,by Vis’varupa, also called Munis’vara, son of Ranganatha, the author of a commentary on the Suryasiddhanta (No. 295 below) and the younger brother of Krsna (No. 278 above). See Diksit, p. 286; I. O., No. 2886. In the latter place, Eggeling expresses a doubt about the exis-tence of the Uttarardha of this work, but our MS. contains both the Purva and the Uttarardha.For the author’s Marici, cf. I. O., No. 2862.The author was born in A. D. 1603, the year of completion of Ranganatha’s commentary on the Suryasiddhanta
