Originally accompanying an exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, this volume features 125 watercolours from the Museum's collection. Beginning with Benjamin West in the 1790s, the book surveys the development of watercolour, concluding with images by Andrew Wyeth from the 1940s.
