The book is based on the inspirations from the Holy Spirit, over 160 Bible scriptures, teachings from more than twenty saints and numerous spiritual authors, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The book begins with how to get started on the path to spiritual excellence. It continues with answers to these ques- tions: Why am I the way that I am, and how did I get to this point in my life? Next, the reader is asked to do a spiritual self- audit to identify the specific issues that negatively impact them, which is followed by an analysis of these challenges. Then, we explore the remedies for these issues. Lastly, the reader develops an Individual Spiritual Plan (ISP) for overcoming these chal- lenges that is a permanent resolution, leading to a life dedicated to spiritual excellence, and the path to happiness, holiness, and Heaven--always doing the will of Jesus. Each chapter is only a few pages long and focuses in on the heart of each topic. The chapter begins with a story that sets up the topic, followed by a discussion which includes references to scriptures and teachings of the saints and spiritual authors. The chapter concludes with a couple of spiritual treasures for reflec- tion, and space for individual spiritual thoughts.
