About this Book

Coverage includes the history of the US Army and its structure, modernization and weapon systems challenges faced by the Army in its transformations for the 21st century, the Army reserve components, the U.S. Army School of the Americas, and the Army Corps of Engineers. The first half of the book contains six chapters by authors whose credentials are unstated, and two chapters from other sources (an extract from an existing U.S. Army publication, information from the Army website).
