About this Book

This book was first published in 1983 and is being re-released because today, like then, there is widespread concern about preventing the sexual abuse of children. Recently there has been much publicity about adults using positions of trust and power e.g. Roman Catholic priests, to facilitate the abuse of children in this way. The challenge is the same as it was 20 years ago: to help children protect themselves from those adults who would prey on them.

NO MORE SECRETS FOR ME is a book of stories to be read with children. Each centres around a common example of abuse to help children discriminate about who they can trust, how to avoid potentially abusive situations and how to tell an adult about abuse that may have already occurred.
