What role might the New Testament have played in the cultural history of anti-Semitism that culminated in the Holocaust? And how has the Holocaust in turn affected the way we read -- or should read -- the founding text of Christianity? Although the philosophical, ethical, and theological implications of the Holocaust have received much attention in recent years, its implications for our practices of biblical interpretation have gone largely unexplored.
