About this Book

The Web site of the Yale University East Timor Project, whose mission is to promote an appropriate Yale contribution to the international assistance needs of the people of East Timor, especially in the fields of health, human rights, training and development. The project assists in the field of human rights monitoring and training, including documentation of the genocide during the Indonesian occupation of 1975-1999, and promotes practicable assistance in the fields of development aid, educational assistance and training.
