About this Book

An Epicene (Let them fly) is an anthology compiled by Mathivathani and Jaishma Jasline, who initiated the project in an effort to give the transgender community a voice. This is a collaborative work composed of the interwoven efforts of 35 writers. The book weaves together a tapestry of themes related to the transgender community. Each chapter allows its individual writer to formulate their own approach to the overarching theme that considers issues that transgender people face in their day to day lives.
