About this Book

The purpose of this report is to provide basic hydrologic information and data sources for the Middle Rio Grande (MRG) as background for a proposed multi-year research project on the hydrology, vegetation, and wildlife of the MRG. The Rio Grande drainage basin forms one of the most important international waterways in the United States. The drainage basin is rich in culture and history, as well as controversy over use and management of Rio Grande water.
