About this Book

[This volume] writes the history of theologian matriarchs in Southern Africa. The resistance from Southern African women through their work in the [Circle of Concerned African Women Theologians (CIRCLE)] affirms the spirit of the Zimbabwean medium and freedom fighter Mbuya Nehanda, and demonstates the tradition of feminist intersectional liberation theology in the region.
