About this Book

This study aims primarily not to present its author's own interpretation of Paul, but to introduce students to the differing positions and methods developed by contemporary scholars in Pauline studies. After considering Paul's importance and influence, and the important sources for the study of Paul, Horrell examines topics ranging from Paul's life before and after his conversion, his attitude to Jewish law, and new approaches to the study of Paul.
