William Manning immgrated about 1634 from England to Roxbury, Massachusetts, moving shortly to Cambridge, Massachusetts. Richard Manning (b.1622) livewd and died in Dartmouth, Devon County, England, but all of his children (with one probable exception) immigrated to Massachusetts with his widowed wife, Anstice (Calley) Manning in 1679. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, Arkansas, Texas and elsewhere. Includes various other Manning immigrants and some of their descendants. Includes also some Manning history in England to 1272 A.D.
