About this Book

Deddy Mulyana is a Professore of Communication Studies and was the Dean of the
Faculty of Communication Science, Padjadjaran University, Indonesia (2008-2016).
He is now the Head of the Center for Health Communication Studies in the
faculty. Deddy received his Bachelor's Degree from the Department of Journalism,
Padjadjaran University, Bandung, Indonesia (1981), his M.A. from the Department
of Communication Studies, Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois,
USA (1986,) and his Ph.D. from the Department of Anthropology and Sociology,
Monash
