Blacksheep Leadership argues that transformational leadership, while relatively rare in practice, is the best way to inspire extraordinary performance in groups of ordinary people. Part 1 of the book is a fictionalized account of a business leadership competition between three siblings, each having a distinctive style of leading. Part 2 explores the principles of transformational leadership and outlines a developmental process for becoming a highly effective Blacksheep leader. Part 3 offers detailed case studies of two transformational leaders: Antarctic explorer Ernest Shackleton and high school teacher Erin Gruwell.
