About this Book

Biography of Charles Clarke Chapman (1853-1944), son of Sidney Smith Chapman and Rebecca Jane Clarke. He was born in Macomb, Illinois, and married Lizzie Pearson in 1884. They moved to Fullerton, California in 1894, where he was active in the citrus and oil business. He also substantially helped support various Christian missionary and educational efforts in China and in California.
