General description of the collection: The Michael E. Bistrica collection consists of twenty-five personal snapshots of scenes in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm; two copies of a memorandum concerning the 22nd Support Command, Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm summary of key statistics, written on 12 June 1991; U.S. Army Central Command (ARCENT) U.S. Army Engineer School (USAES) briefing, dated April 1991; a commemorative map of Desert Shield dated 1991; and an Iraqi booklet from the 1980's.
