This accession consists of works written by James R. Woodall during his graduate studies at the University of Kentucky and Vanderbilt University and his work as a Professor of English at Alabama Polytechnic Institute (API, now Auburn University). The majority of his work focuses on John Ruskin, the Victorian English writer and art critic. Other work includes a study of the city of London, England, and study guides for communication and pre-college English courses that Woodall taught to be broadcast on television.
