Description
Francis Ford Coppola's epic Vietnam war movie, Apocalypse Now, starring Marlon Brando, Robert Duvall, Dennis Hopper and Martin Sheen was loosely based on the 1899 novella Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad. Fitting then that Miracle Games' helicopter-based arcade shooter Apocalypse for the Amiga was in turn even more loosely based on Apocalypse Now.
Mostly because it's an excuse to reacquaint myself with the soul-stirringly impactful movie in question, I assess the two works side by side and call it an article.
