Description
What we learn from RoboCop 2 is that manufacturing an effective cyborg law and order enforcer is a one-off occurrence. Any subsequent attempts are doomed to failure, imminent suicide of the reanimated police officer corpse within, and the collateral damage decimation of anything and anyone in the vicinity. Also, that precocious kids damned with an irredeemably broken moral compass are as terrifying as psychopathic, adult, career criminal murderers.
In RoboCop 2, Murphy is principally preoccupied with stamping out Detroit's escalating Nuke nuisance, in addition to apprehending Cain, the cartel leader responsible for peddling the designer drug. Ocean's game, being a licensed companion piece, follows suit. Analogous to their first foray, it melds action-platforming with first-person shooting galleries and mini-game puzzle interludes. Whilst it's far superior aesthetically and sonically with substantially more onscreen simultaneous activity, the exponential hike in difficulty drastically detracts from such refinements.
