Description

Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt - the platform game sequel to Ocean Software's Addams Family - was released in 1993, exclusively for the SNES. I trace its origins back to the second animated TV series produced by Hanna-Barbera, and the specific episode from which it draws inspiration. We'll find out how Pugsley's gaming homage measures up to that of Gomez - the star of the original multi-system, Mario-esque platformer - and why he shunned Nintendo's competing systems of the same era.
