Description
If anything about Team 17's inaugural gaming release, Miami Chase, evokes memories of Miami Vice, that's purely at the discretion of your own predilections. Certainly, there was no intention to plant in the player's mind allusions to the New Wave hot property in order to surreptitiously inflate the game's street credibility. With that disclaimer subtly dispensed, in Miami Chase we play as tough-talking, F40 drivin' undercover cop, Don Ferrari, who has been granted just 48 hours to expunge the crime-ridden streets of gangster filth to boost the mayor's odds of re-election.
Racing against an infernally ticking clock whilst eschewing civilian collateral damage, red car targets are rooted out and eliminated engaging the city map and extreme prejudice, hopefully without drawing too much attention from patrolling beat cops. We're operating so deeply undercover, even they aren't aware we're on the same side.
Miami Chase was Team 7 International's only release before evolving into double-digits to become the wonderous, worm-taming wizards of Wakefield, Team 17.
